The first pig fled to his brother's house of branches for protection. The wolf followed, and once again demanded to come inside. The two little pigs refused, but the wolf blew down the house of branches with just a few whooshes! The two pigs then fled to their brother's house of mortar.
The wolf, now furious, tried his best to blow down the sturdy house of bricks, but he just couldn't succeed. He struggled and huffed, but the house remained.
Finally, the wolf realized that he couldn't blow down the house. {Hescrambled up the stack hoping to website surprise the pigs. But the clever third pig had already placed a pot of boiling water at the top of the chimney. The wolf fell into the pot and howled, then fled as fast as he could. The three little pigs were safe at last!
They lived happily ever after in their sturdy house of stone.
